TNCI Selects GENBAND for Complete Network Transformation
Advanced call session controllers, media gateways and enterprise session border controllers offer improved network functionality, reliability and security
Frisco, Texas, October 1, 2014 – GENBAND™, a leading developer of software-based real-time communications solutions, today announced that TNCI, a leading national telecommunications provider specializing in wholesale voice and enterprise voice, data and cloud solutions, has deployed its C3™ Call Session Controller, G9™ Converged Gateway and Q20™ Session Border Controller for a complete network modernization, migrating from legacy TDM equipment to IP-based infrastructure and software.
- The C3 Call Session Controller provides TNCI with critical switching elements that enable voice and multimedia sessions to traverse networks, empowering a seamless user experience.
- The G9 Converged Gateway offers TNCI the flexibility to bridge disparate networks together using a single, cohesive next generation gateway.
- The Q20 Session Border Controller offers TNCI secure SIP Trunking and transcoding capabilities as well as the ability to seamlessly interconnect with other providers’ networks.
TNCI’s recent acquisitions of Pac-West, Point One, and Trans National Communications International, Inc., have strengthened its integrated and robust network throughout the country. The company now provides advanced communications services across 50 states in the US.
“We are rapidly expanding both through organic and inorganic growth so we needed a partner who could provide us with proven solutions and quickly deploy the latest in IP-based technology to give our customers, regardless of where they are located, best-in-class network reliability and services,” said Jeff Compton, Vice Chairman of TNCI. “GENBAND quickly deployed state-of-the-art technology that allows us to standardize the various networks we have acquired, while also allowing us to leverage improved infrastructure, reliability, services and capacity.”
“We are delighted that an aggressively growing service provider like TNCI turned to GENBAND for their network transformation needs,” said John Ryan, Senior Vice President of the Americas for GENBAND. “Our market-leading Call Session Controllers, combined with our high-capacity Media Gateways and advanced Session Border Controllers provide them with peace of mind knowing that they are working with a partner that has established a reputation for delivering world-class network transformation solutions, regardless of the complexity of the project or how many disparate networks are involved.”
